Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church (LCMS)

Pastor Neuendorf is deeply interested in the Lutheran hymns of the sixteenth, seventeenth, and early eighteenth centuries, and has developed a website devoted to making those hymns and their melodies freely available in English. The website is called the Free Lutheran Chorale-Book. We have sung a number of these hymns in church. If you find any hymns at Pastor's website that interest you, he would love to speak with you about them!

Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) was founded to help support Christian human care ministries of the Church and is a RSO (Recognized Service Organization) of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. LCC works throughout the United States and Internationally in bringing the Mercy, Compassion, Presence and Proclamation of Jesus Christ to those Suffering and in Need. Of particular interest is the involvement of this ministry with the support of training apprentice handlers and comfort dogs for schools, hospitals and military veterans. This is the web site for Iowa District East's Word of God Lutheran Church for the Deaf and includes the Quad-City Lutheran Deaf Ministry led by Rev. Tim Eckert. This is a unique ministry of the Church that covers the eastern half of Iowa and deserves our interest and support.

A web site of special interest to Iowa District East Congregations is that of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lithuania. This church body is in fellowship with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The Iowa District East has been raising funds to help build a diaconal center in Lithuania and a number of district pastors and parishioners have visited congregations that country. The ELCL website is in Lithuanian, German and English and gives information about this historical Lutheran church body.

The International Lutheran Council is a world-wide association of Confessional Lutheran churches. The LCMS is a member of this organization.

This is the online site for the LCMS official publication The Lutheran Witness. This site also has an archive of past Lutheran Witness issues on line.

KFUO Radio is the broadcast arm of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. This website provides on-demand and streaming audio of programs broadcast daily from the station in St. Louis. It contains a variety of audio-visual bible studies and musical segments for Christian learning and enjoyment.
